The Founder’s Manifesto: 3 Promises I’ll Never Break

February 26, 2026 Vaibhav Dugar 3 min read

When I started building Humble Yeti, I made three promises to myself.

Not marketing promises. Not positioning statements. Real ones. The kind you write down quietly and hope you never have to test.

Because the 7–12 years are not small years. They are years of growth spurts, bigger appetites, sharper questions, playground battles, exam stress, and rapidly forming habits. What we feed children in this phase matters.

So before we built products, we built principles.

Here are three promises I intend to keep, even when it is hard.

1) I will never call something healthy just because it sounds good.

We live in a time where packaging can say almost anything. Natural. Wholesome. Fortified. Superfood.

But labels can be loud while ingredients stay quiet.

At Humble Yeti, we choose the harder path. If we say Mighty Goodness, it must be backed by real grains and real nutrition. Finger Millet. Amaranth. Buckwheat. Brown Basmati Rice. Ingredients that have fed generations, not just trends.

We use brown sugar powder. We use pink salt. We do not use artificial colours, artificial flavours, or additives to mask shortcuts.

If something looks good on the front but does not hold up on the back, it does not pass our standard.

That is a promise.

2) I will never choose profit over your trust.

There is a simple rule inside Humble Yeti.

If I will not give it to my girls, I will not sell it to yours.

Every recipe we finalise has to pass that filter first. Not a cost filter. Not a margin filter. A parent filter.

Trust is not built through clever copy. It is built batch by batch. Through consistency. Through restraint. Through saying no to easier options.

We are not here for quick wins. We are here to build something families can rely on.

And if we ever fall short of that standard, I want you to hold us accountable.

3) I will never forget who this food is really for.

Kids do not need perfect plates for Instagram.

They need fuel.

The 7–12 phase is a powerful window of physical and cognitive growth. It is also when taste preferences and food habits start settling in for the long term.

That is why our pancake mixes are built with nutritional strength in mind. Not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.

Grains like ragi contribute natural calcium to support growing bones. Buckwheat offers essential B vitamins that play a role in energy metabolism. Brown rice and amaranth bring fibre and micronutrients that processed flours often strip away.

And yes, we keep texture real. The slight crunch at the end of a bite is not an accident. It is the signature of grains that have not been over-processed into something lifeless.

Because children deserve food that respects their growth, not just their cravings.

If This Resonates

If this philosophy feels aligned with how you think about food for your family, you can explore our Pancake Adventure Pack here. It is a simple way to try the range and see which fuel your explorer enjoys most. We are still early in this journey but these three promises are not changing.

And "The Yeti’s Trail" will always be where I write about the principles behind what we build.
